Enterprise Edition

Organisation licensing, managed deployment, dynamic Dock policy, and soft enforcement for Mac fleets.

How Enterprise works

Enterprise deployments use a customer-specific licence profile and the shared DockPilot Client. The licence profile identifies your organisation, allows the Mac to enrol, and lets DockPilot check whether managed Dock actions should continue.

Soft licence behaviour

  • If the trial or subscription is active, managed Dock updates can run.
  • If the licence expires, DockPilot pauses future managed Dock changes.
  • DockPilot does not break or reset the user's current Dock when a licence check fails.
  • If the Mac is temporarily offline, DockPilot can use cached state until it can check in again.
  • Local diagnostics and status views remain available so support can understand what happened.

Dynamic app-aware policy

  • Predefine Dock behaviour for apps before users install them.
  • Use replacements when your organisation changes direction, such as Mail to Outlook or Chrome to Arc.
  • Keep role-based Docks clean: admin teams, sales teams, design teams, classrooms, labs, and shared devices can each have sensible templates.
  • Let users install approved apps while keeping the Dock curated and predictable.

Plans

  • Education: £100 per year for one school.
  • Business: £250 per year for one organisation.
  • Product support is included.
  • Faster response support agreements are available when you need a defined SLA.
  • Consultancy for Jamf, MDM, packaging, migrations, or rollout planning is available separately.
