Device identity
- DockPilot does not send raw serial numbers.
- Enterprise mode uses a hashed device identity.
- Diagnostics show only a short device hash prefix.
- The device list is for support and licensing visibility only.
Tokens and profiles
- The licence profile is organisation-specific.
- Enrolment details can be rotated if needed.
- Device tokens are stored securely on the Mac.
- Full enrolment tokens and device tokens are not shown in the DockPilot UI.
Licence failure behaviour
DockPilot uses soft enforcement. If a licence check fails, the Mac is offline, or a trial expires, DockPilot pauses future managed Dock changes. It does not remove the user's current Dock or destructive-reset the Mac.

Copy Diagnostics and support exports are designed to help support understand configuration, app state, and licence status without exposing full tokens.
